PiLab Equipment Funding

Who is eligible: K-12 Private or rural public schools in Montana

What it is:  Funding for the equipment required to implement a computer lab setup using Raspberry Pis, for the purpose of teaching computer science and computer science-related activities to K-12 students.

Love INC New Montana Affiliate Development

Who is eligible: New affiliates of Love INC that are located in Montana

What it is: Love In the Name of Christ (or Love INC) is committed to helping local churches, help local people in need. To inquire about starting a Love INC community go to: www.loveinc.org. The Gianforte Family Foundation offers funding incentives for Montana affiliates as they reach specific stages in their development. To find out more about these incentives – click the button below.

Church Outreach Grant Packages

The Gianforte Family Foundation strongly believes the local church has a valuable, irreplaceable role to play in their community. To help increase the capacity of local Christian churches to reach out beyond the “pews” with the love of Christ, our foundation is offering grants (up to $3,300) to be used for new outreach and community-building programs that:

  • Strengthen Marriages & Families
  • Help Individuals Flourish Economically
  • Offer Addiction or Trauma Recovery Tools

Eligibility Criteria

Tax status:  We only fund work done by organizations ruled to have tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Geographic location:  In most cases, our funding is limited to organizations in Montana.  We will occasionally provide funding to organizations that operate nationally, when their work aligns with our focus areas and impacts the nation as a whole.  We rarely fund work overseas unless we have a personal connection with the group doing the work.

Funding amounts:  We do not generally fund projects where we are the sole providers of funding, nor do we like to account for more than 50% of the budget for a project (and in most cases, less).  In addition, we prefer to start with smaller amounts for organizations that we have not worked with in the past.
